The student can recognise familiar words and very basic statements concerning him/herself, the family and immediate concrete surroundings. He /she can use single phrases and sentences in areas of immediate need, can write a short postcard, fill in a form with personal details, can ask and answer simple questions.

Can understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type. Can introduce him/herself and others and can ask and answer questions about personal details such as where he/she lives, people he/she knows and things he/she has. Can interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help.

My name is Manisha, and I’m the founder of Italiano con Manisha. I’m a Certified Italian Language Teacher, born and raised in the beautiful city of Modena, in northern Italy.
I’ve been teaching Italian for over 7 years, working with students from all over the world and at different levels, from complete beginners to more advanced learners.
I completed my BA in European Languages in Italy and later obtained my teaching certification, specialising in Italian as a foreign language. In 2019, I moved to London to further my studies and completed an MA in Asian Languages.
I love helping students feel confident in Italian from day one, focusing on clear explanations, real communication, and practical language you can actually use.
